Advancing Sustainability and ESG in Oil, Gas, and Energy is a tailored five-day training for oil, gas, and energy professionals commencing their sustainability work. Participants immerse themselves in the ever-evolving field of corporate sustainability and delve into renewable energy integration, carbon footprint reduction, and circular economy principles. Through interactive workshops, case studies, and expert-led discussions, attendees grasp the significance of transitioning to cleaner energy sources and mitigating environmental impacts. Key topics include renewable energy technologies, emission reduction strategies, and stakeholder engagement for sustainable development. Practical tools and frameworks equip participants to navigate evolving industry dynamics while fostering environmental stewardship. Through several participant-specific exercises, participants plan how a sustainability vision can most effectively be translated into action in their organizations by working with their specific set of internal and external stakeholders. A plan is developed throughout the course providing a roadmap for action with specific targets.

AUDIENCE

  • Oil, gas, and energy professionals with an interest in sustainability and a need to understand
    the basics of the sustainability agenda and how it impacts the industry

  • Individuals or departments who are expected to lead or contribute to the company’s
    sustainability
    efforts and lead their own department’s efforts to formulate and deliver on sustainability targets

  • Individuals with specific sustainability/ESG responsibilities

  • Relevant departments include commercial departments, regulatory affairs and compliance, public affairs, a broad range of operational units, investor relations, reporting, etc. 

  • Prior knowledge of corporate sustainability is not a prerequisite
