GEOLOGY FOR NON GEOLOGISTS Course

In just three days, you should have a basic understanding of the petroleum industry, learn the fundamentals and language of petroleum exploration.

You will be introduced to exploration techniques and tools that geologists and geophysicists use, such as correlation, mapping and seismic materials and you will learn how to identify common rocks and minerals using various hands-on methods, with practical exercises. The course was designed to provide a high impact and learning

experience which will allow the non-geologists to understand the objectives Petroleum Geology in how

important the geologist is for the companies and for the communication between the teams.

COURSE DURATION: 3 days

LEVEL: Foundation

DESIGNED FOR YOU, IF YOU ARE...

  • Reservoir engineers,

  • Geophysicists without geological training,

  • Junior Geologists,

  • Managers,

  • Petroleum service personnel,

  • Business administrators and Executives,

  • Human resources personnel,

  • Economist

HOW WE BUILD YOUR CONFIDENCE

We will use slides presentation, paper exercises and examples from real cases from real productive Eastern Oil field.

THE BENEFITS FROM ATTENDING
